Community Grants

The Community Grants will help locally managed organisations run local projects that make a difference in their local communities.
The first round of the fund was open for applications between 10th April 2006 and 5th July 2006. Grants up to £12,000 were available with £1,000,000 to distribute. The 1990 Trust - Black VCS Funding Report
This research project looks at the relationship between funding of the Black Voluntary and Community Sector (BVCS) and how this affects the ability of the sector to involve Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities in London and Leicester in civic engagement, social inclusion and capacity building.

Community Cohesion
This toolkit will be useful for officers and members of local authorities, it has been specifically designed with practitioners from all agencies in mind - including all those
who are charged with developing and improving community cohesion, whether they are based in local authorities, police forces, voluntary or community groups.
